Dr. Eliseo Ferrante

I am a tenure track assistant professor on the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where I work in the Computational Intelligence Group on a part time basis. I am also Senior Director at the Technology Innovation Institute Abu Dhabi. My research is on swarm robotics, at the interface between science (incl. biology and physics) and engineering. The focus is how nature shapes, and in turns how engineers can design collective behaviours that are scale-invariant, adaptive and robust.
